Dr. Wittman founded One Generation in January 2015, with a mission of helping healthier mamas have healthier babies.
Why One Generation? The powerful seed was planted many years ago when Dr. Wittman read a transformative journal article relating that for the first time in centuries, the current generation may have a shorter life expectancy than their parents. WHOA! And the causes- preventable. What?! The research ended with this: “A leveling off or decline in life expectancy in the United States is not inevitable.” Ah ha!
“I’m just not ok with this chilling, frankly unacceptable trend. It became clear that it’s time to step up and facilitate large scale change. We must shift within one generation; hence One Generation.”
After enduring 4 miscarriages before delivering her healthy baby boy, Dr. Wittman knew first hand the lack of support and information surrounding miscarriage. The current initiative, Managing Miscarriage, supports women through the heartbreak of miscarriage, including an eGuide written by Dr. Wittman.
